Third, you take an empty plastic jar (with hole) and put it over her head.
Some of us know that sometimes giving a cat(s) medication is like trying to tame the Tasmanian Devil. Others believe it is like giving a dog medication, you wrap it in cheese and toss it to the dog, and he gobbles it up. Not quite the same, you may get the cat to take the medication the first go round, but the second time may end up feeling like you are taming a wild wolverine.
Well… let me introduce you to Esmeralda. She is a very sweet cat who is on some medication. The first photograph is just of Esmeralda, she has a few medical issues as well as Asthma. So to take care of these things, the first step is a pill. You drop it on her tongue and she swallows it. Simple as that.
But to get her to take her asthma medication is special. Like most who have asthma issues, they use an inhaler. Esmeralda is no different. The steps are:
Lastly, you put the hole in the plastic jar by her nose and spray the inhaler in the jar, count to 15 and spray a second time.

Second, you put children's swim goggles on her.
Through all this, not once did Esmeralda run, hide, hiss or scratch. I did this process to her twice a day for 5 days. Each time, she came right up to me, and went through the process. I love my cats, but I’m pretty darn sure not one of them would have been as patient as Esmeralda was.
